49ers at Redskins – Game Preview

Stevie and Joe discuss what the Redskins need to do to win/dominate the 49ers on Sunday and what the issues will be if they lose. With Shannahan and Garcon returning to face their former team both will be hungry to get the 49ers into the win column for the first time in 2017. The Redskins are the better team, they should win, but this is DC after all and the city is still disoriented after another game five Nationals loss at home… a Redskins win would be the perfect chaser to get us all feeling just a little bit better. Two life-long 49ers fans join the show as well, but ultimately the general thought is the Redskins should win. Stevie like this to be a high scoring game, Joe thinks the opposite… time will tell! Redskins Can’t Close; Lose in KC

The Redskins were in position to win, but with a minute on the clock and the defense on the field they couldn’t keep the Chiefs from pulling ahead on the final possession. These two teams mirror each other in several ways but with poor clock management and a big shot to win that slipped through our hands the Redskins head into the bye week with a 2-2 record. FP, LP, Stevie, and Joe wrap up the LIVE viewing party from Glory Days and look ahead to the 49ers in two weeks time. This one stings deep… we could have won! The boys are on the road at Glory Days in Vienna recording the pregame and postgame shows LIVE with fans! LP, FP, and Joe have the Redskins winning big tonight while Stevie is taking the Chiefs in a close game. For the record Joe is also taking the under on points which are set at 49.5 total. The guys break down the key differences between the two teams and touch on the similarities too including speedy running backs, fast middle linebackers, and a secondary that can shut down any reciever core in the league. Hail to the Redskins! What a complete performance from the Redskins tonight against a very good Raiders team! LP is singing, FP is smiling, Stevie is dancing in the streets of DC, and Joe is convinced we are Super Bowl-bound! The guys pass out their game balls to coaches and players highlighting the best plays of the night and talk X’s and O’s about what worked and what didn’t as the focus now changes to an equally good KC Chiefs team next Monday night in another primetime tilt! The fellas also discuss their reaction to Dan Snyder locking arms with the players during the national anthem tonight and share a few thoughts on what they saw around the league too. Redskins Defeat the LA Rams: Instant Reaction

After the first win of the 2017 season, FP and LP are breaking down the win with instant reactions. The mentee couldn’t defeat the mentor. Aaron Donald was a force but just not enough for the LA Rams, as they went down to the Washington Redskins 27-20. FP and LP break down their grades for the offense, defense and special teams. The offensive run game was running on all cylinders today, however the pass game struggled at times. The defense had a solid showing with the one-armed Mason Foster sealing the game with a 4th quarter pick. At the end of a day a win is a win and the Washington Redskins won the game. LP and FP are both confident the Redskins will get better with time, but have 2 tough games coming up. We are going to enjoy this win for 24 hours before moving on the Oakland Raiders.
