LP, FP, and Joe are back talking sports as the #ALLCAPS hangover finally comes to an end… by the way the Caps bent the cup!? But a lot has happened in the past two weeks with Trotz leaving (5:30), Johnny C staying (10:45), and DSP getting a one year extension too (12:30). But there is more happening around the DC on the Wizards side with a strange draft ending (18:25), a trade bringing in Austin Rivers (24:30), and NBA free agency is just around the corner (31:00). NBA Finals Recap; Ratings Down; Summer of LeBron

Well, that was not interesting at all. The Warriors defeated the Cavs in straight sets to win the NBA Finals and bring the NBA season to a close. In DC, we have been consumed by all things NHL and Capitals to the point that many of us didn’t actually watch Game 4 of the NBA Finals until several days after it actually happened… but did anyone really see this ending differently? Justin “JusBlaze” joins Joe to put a bow on the NBA season and talk a little but about what could have been and what may be by the time the summer ends and the new season begins. Are the Warriors a dynasty? Is there such a thing in the modern NBA? Could Durant leave the Bay Area for LA? Might Paul George, LeBron, or a few Spurs join him there? JR Soils Bed; LeBron nets 51; Warriors in 3

Well, that was awkward… Lebron has 51 points, JR Smith can’t read, victory to the Warriors, and they may win this series in three games! There are no words to describe the actions and lack of awareness displayed by JR Smith.. only meme’s (ThxTwitter). Kevin Love showed he still has fight in him, but ultimately the Cavs came up short in overtime. The Warriors had stunning performances from their studs and look in command of the series. LP, Canada, and Joe breakdown game one and discuss adjustments both teams should look to make before game two and figure out how and what to do with JR Smith because his situation is terrible. + Mo Salah cleared for the World Cup, Twitter burn accounts, and a random Mystics schedule update. 

NBA Finals Preview; Rematch x4; Eight Years of LeBron

The (most boring) NBA Finals have arrived… (but we are spicing things up with some NBA on NBC theme music!)… #Warriors vs #LeBron for the 4th straight year… how does anyone get excited about that? Well, maybe we aren’t excited, but we still love basketball, and still will watch, so let’s set the table for the series which begins on Thursday night… afterall LeBron was right, “not 1, not 2, not 3…” he has been to 8 straight finals, which is incredible to consider as many of us were still in school or hadn’t met our spouses… eight years ago #ESPN was still relevant, and #Drake hadn’t released an album yet… must less a “dis-track”. Justin Blaze (@jusblaze_513) from the Above the Rim Podcast joins Joe to preview the matchup and make some predictions for the series and also for the #Wizards and the offseason staring Ernie G in the face.
